Week 9
...and the exodus begins!
What an extraorinary week this has been for us! So is the plan; raise the puppies and see them off to their new homes. Nevertheless it is always tinged with sadness, when the time comes for them to take wing and become family members in other homes. But a happy time as well, as these families have waited so long for their loved, furry ones. I believe we did a good job in preparing them for this exciting part of their lives.
I wish each and every one long, healthy, fun and riviting times in their new families and can't wait to hear how they all develop!
In the photogallery, you can see what a great time we had, trying to get these "strong charachters" to sit still for a family picture! What a gaudi that was!
This is the last entry for awhile, although we will be keeping 2 puppies until the end of January, as they are to go to families in Italy & Latvia. Therefore, they have to wait up for their rabies vaccinations plus the 3 additional weeks.
I will be adding to the Farewell page, as each pup is picked up by their new owners.
